About this
painting
I can’t resist old farm houses, barns and rusty pieces of our
history scattered in the countryside.
Sunflowers are one of my most favorite flowers as they give me a
sense of contentment and ease. They were obviously my inspiration for
this painting. A beautiful afternoon
drive took me and my children to a big old farmhouse which became the
well-suited backdrop for my sunflowers.
